Get Ready to Rock Medford This Independence Day Week!
We’re turning up the energy at this year’s Medford Independence Day Fireworks with a performance by none other than The Amptons!
Hailing from Southampton, NJ, this energetic duo—Joe & Randy—aren’t just talented musicians… they’re your favorite elementary school teachers by day and full-blown rockers by night! From crowd-pleasing classics to today’s hits (plus a few unexpected surprises), The Amptons know exactly how to get the party started—and keep it going.
Joe brings the groove on guitar and vocals, while Randy keeps things movin’ with vocals, tambourine, dance moves, and even a kazoo solo you won’t forget.
They’ve been lighting up stages across NJ and PA since 2020, with recent stops at spots like Medford Ott’s, The Chesterfield Inn, Sun Harbor, and Surf City Hotel. Now, they’re bringing their high-energy show straight to the Medford Fireworks stage—and trust us, you don’t want to miss it.
Mark your calendars for the evening of July 2 [July 3 rain date]. Bring your dancing shoes. Let’s celebrate freedom with fireworks, fun, and a whole lot of music.
About Medford Celebrates
Medford Celebrates Foundation, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit entity, approved for tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, that raises money to fund Medford’s Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Display. Our volunteers also do the work required to produce and stage the show, which is a long-standing Medford tradition.
The event itself features food and merchandise vendors, children’s games and live music, capped off by an amazing, professional fireworks display at dusk. It is attended by approximately 10,000 people in Freedom Park, Main Street and the surrounding areas. Be sure to check out the videos and images on this website to get the flavor of the event.
Starting in 2012, the event has been funded by private contributions, almost entirely from local businesses and many residents of Medford and neighboring communities who have enjoyed the Medford fireworks show over the years. We would ask you to join them by making a tax-deductible donation to help our cause. Every little bit helps. You can donate in one of the following ways:

- Be on the lookout for our volunteers at the Fireworks event, who will be collecting before the fireworks show and after it concludes.

Our plans are ambitious and, frankly, cannot be carried out by only the MCF Trustees. We need help planning and executing events.
